Therefore, in daily life, everyone must pay more attention to their physical changes, especially the occurrence of gynecological diseases, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. So, what is endometrial tuberculosis?

Endometrial tuberculosis is an inflammation of the endometrium caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is usually part of pelvic tuberculosis and also part of systemic tuberculosis. The main source of infection is pulmonary or peritoneal tuberculosis. Endometrial tuberculosis accounts for 50% to 60% of genital tuberculosis. It often spreads from fallopian tube tuberculosis to the uterus. The lesions are mostly confined to the endometrium.

Because tuberculosis of the endometrium destroys the environment for the implantation and development of the fertilized egg, or because tuberculosis of the fallopian tubes blocks the fallopian tubes, causing infertility, many patients come to the hospital for examination due to infertility, and are finally diagnosed with endometrial tuberculosis. Due to the influence of tuberculosis, the endometrium may be congested or ulcerated in the early stage, resulting in menorrhagia; in the late stage, the endometrium is damaged, affecting the function of the endometrium, causing rare menstruation or even amenorrhea.

At present, anti-tuberculosis treatment adopts short-term combination drug therapy, which shortens the medication time, reduces the medication dosage, alleviates the toxic reactions of drugs, and is easier for patients to accept. When using the medication, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that anti-tuberculosis drugs may cause toxic reactions in some patients, such as nerve damage, liver and kidney function damage (including jaundice), and make appropriate treatment according to the specific situation of the patient.

Endometrial tuberculosis is mostly caused by secondary infection. If female friends do not pay attention to this disease, it will cause greater harm to the human body. First, it will cause dizziness and fatigue, and then it will cause low fever, loss of appetite for women, lower abdominal distension and pain, and other discomforts. In order to avoid it causing more harm to people, it is recommended that you should seek early treatment after you find that you have endometrial tuberculosis.
