What are the common symptoms of ovarian cysts?

Ovarian cysts are a type of ovarian tumor in women. Most cysts are benign, cystic, smooth, and movable. Patients with ovarian cysts may experience the following symptoms.

1. Dysmenorrhea

Ovarian cysts can also cause dysmenorrhea in women. Women who have no history of dysmenorrhea may also experience intermittent dysmenorrhea symptoms.

2. Menstrual disorders

Ovarian cysts can cause endocrine disorders and menstrual cycle disorders, which are often irregular and have great changes in menstrual volume and cycle.

3. Abdominal bloating

A lump appears in the abdomen. When the cyst grows to a certain size, the patient can consciously touch the lump and move it, but it is generally painless. However, if there are complications or malignant changes, not only will the lump itself be tender, but there may even be symptoms of peritoneal irritation. Due to abdominal distension, the patient may feel a significant increase in abdominal circumference.

4. Compression symptoms

As the cyst continues to grow, the patient may experience a series of compression symptoms of the internal organs. 5. Thin face

Patients with ovarian cysts often experience indigestion and loss of appetite, similar to "gastritis". Patients often experience significant weight loss, listlessness, fatigue and other symptoms.
