Causes of Dysmenorrhea

Causes of Dysmenorrhea

Causes of Dysmenorrhea:

Dysmenorrhea may be caused by excessive mental stress, unhealthy diet, endometritis, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, etc., and needs to be improved according to the cause.

1. Excessive mental stress:

If the pressure from work and life is relatively high, it will lead to long-term mental tension and may induce dysmenorrhea. Usually, you can listen to some soothing music and participate in more outdoor activities to stabilize your mood and help improve symptoms.

2. Unhealthy diet:

Often eating raw and cold food before or during menstruation may cause blood circulation to slow down. Poor blood discharge can easily cause dysmenorrhea. Usually, drinking some warm water and applying hot towels to the abdomen can improve the symptoms.

3. Endometritis:

It is mainly caused by infection with pathogenic bacteria. Under repeated inflammatory stimulation, symptoms such as increased vaginal secretions, prolonged menstruation, and dysmenorrhea will appear. Intravenous drip treatment can be chosen under the guidance of a doctor. Commonly used drugs are generally injection of amoxicillin sodium, injection of ceftriaxone sodium, injection of penicillin sodium, etc., which can promote the disappearance of inflammation.

4. Endometriosis

It may be caused by genetic factors, low body immunity, endocrine abnormalities, etc., which will cause compression on local tissues and cause varying degrees of abdominal pain during menstruation.

5. Uterine fibroids:

It is a benign tumor that is related to genetics, changes in hormone levels, etc. If it grows under the endometrium, it will compress the uterine cavity, causing menstrual blood to be unable to be discharged, and dysmenorrhea may be accompanied by back pain.

No matter what the cause is, timely treatment is needed to prevent the condition from getting worse and causing harm to your health.
