Causes of partial hydatidiform mole

Causes of partial hydatidiform mole

Causes of partial hydatidiform mole:

Partial hydatidiform mole is an abnormal pregnancy condition. Its occurrence requires certain conditions to be met and is also related to some relevant factors. For example, it may be closely related to the age of the pregnant woman, it may also be related to nutritional disorders, and it may also be closely related to the history of pregnancy.

1. Partial hydatidiform mole is a condition that women may encounter at birth, generally concentrated in pregnant women aged 20-30 years old. The cause of the disease is still unclear. It is generally believed to be related to folic acid deficiency and viral infection. Genetic and immune dysfunction may also cause this condition. Some women lack vitamin A and other precursor carotene in their diet, which can lead to a significantly increased risk of hydatidiform mole. It may also be closely related to regional and ethnic factors. Of course, socioeconomic factors and gestational age may also lead to an increased incidence of partial hydatidiform mole.

2. In fact, many friends may not know that age is an important factor that causes some hydatidiform moles. If the pregnant woman is over 35 or 40 years old, the probability of occurrence is twice and 7.5 times that of young women. It should be noted that if the pregnant woman is less than 20 years old, the probability of encountering hydatidiform mole is relatively high. Women should give birth at the best childbearing age to minimize the possibility of hydatidiform mole.

3. Some women had hydatidiform mole during their last pregnancy, so the probability of this problem occurring again is about 1% to 20%. If you have encountered a similar situation during pregnancy, you must do relevant screening during the next pregnancy, and pay more attention to the supplementation of nutrients such as vitamin A and folic acid to minimize the probability of this problem.
