What are the symptoms of uterine prolapse

Uterine prolapse does not happen for no reason. In fact, the main cause of this phenomenon is delivery injury, which is one of the key causes of uterine prolapse. Women with dystocia are more likely to suffer from uterine prolapse. Some patients have increased abdominal pressure. If the patient has chronic constipation, the abdominal pressure will increase, which will naturally cause uterine prolapse. A small number of patients have congenital uterine abnormalities, which cause poor development of the reproductive organs.

After uterine prolapse occurs, patients will unconsciously feel that their abdomen is sagging. Every time they walk for too long, they will feel back pain. However, after patients lie flat for a period of time, the back pain will be relieved, but the back pain will affect the patient's movements and even cause excessive menstrual bleeding every time the patient has menstruation.

Patients often have cystocele, which makes urination difficult. Patients will find that urination is not clean during urination, and there will be some pain in the urethra during urination. If the condition is serious, it may also lead to urinary incontinence.

There are many degrees of uterine prolapse. If it is a third-degree uterine prolapse, the entire uterus will move from the cervix to the outside of the vaginal opening. If this is the case, the patient's symptoms in all aspects will become severe, making it impossible for them to control urination every time. If they don't try hard, they won't be able to urinate at all.

The main treatment for uterine prolapse is surgery, but if this surgery is done, it will have a certain impact on women's ability to give birth vaginally again. Surgery is only suitable for some women with serious conditions or who do not plan to have children again, while women of childbearing age can only use conservative treatment methods, such as pelvic floor muscle exercises.
