What to do if you have pelvic effusion and cervicitis

Gynecological diseases are a major problem that troubles women today. A single gynecological disease is often easier to cure. However, when multiple gynecological diseases occur at the same time, it is more difficult to treat. Here is what to do if you have pelvic effusion and cervicitis?

Pelvic effusion is the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity, which can occur after pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis or endometriosis. According to pathological factors, it can be divided into physiological pelvic effusion and pathological pelvic effusion.

Cervicitis is a common gynecological disease, which mostly occurs in women of childbearing age. Elderly people may also develop the disease along with vaginitis. The main symptoms of cervicitis are increased leucorrhea, which is purulent, or abnormal bleeding such as intermenstrual bleeding and bleeding after sexual intercourse. It is often accompanied by backache and lower abdominal discomfort. There are two types: acute and chronic. Acute cervicitis often coexists with acute endometritis or acute vaginitis, but chronic cervicitis is more common.

If the patient has pelvic effusion and cervicitis, it is recommended that the patient do not worry first. It is best to go to the hospital immediately to determine the type of pelvic effusion.

Because the pelvic cavity is the lowest part of the abdominal cavity in the whole body, when there is exudate or leaked fluid, it will drain into the pelvic cavity, thus forming pelvic effusion. Some normal women will have a small amount of blood accumulated in the pelvic cavity during menstruation or ovulation, forming pelvic effusion, which is physiological pelvic effusion, and generally does not require treatment. If you have pathological pelvic effusion, it is recommended to actively treat it. You should also find out the type of cervicitis, treat it according to your condition, pay attention to diet, and maintain a good mood.
