What are the causes of endometriosis?

Endometriosis can infiltrate surrounding tissues and organs, interfering with their normal function. So, what are the causes and factors of endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a common gynecological disease caused by the implantation of endometrial cells in abnormal locations. Endometrial cells should grow in the uterine cavity, but because the uterine cavity is connected to the pelvic cavity through the fallopian tubes, endometrial cells can enter the pelvic cavity through the fallopian tubes and grow ectopically. Currently, there are many theories about the pathogenesis of this disease, among which the endometrial implantation theory has been widely recognized. The occurrence of endometriosis is also related to the body's immune function, genetic factors and environmental factors.

The main clinical causes of endometriosis are:

1. Menstrual disorders.

Especially shortened menstrual cycle, frequent menstruation, heavy menstrual flow, prolonged menstrual cycle, menstrual abdominal pain, etc. These menstrual disorders increase the chances of menstrual blood reflux and free endometrial fragments.

2. Multiple miscarriages and caesarean sections.

When there are multiple miscarriages, it is difficult to avoid endometrial debris and blood entering the pelvic cavity through the fallopian tubes, leading to endometriosis.

3. The uterus is not in the correct position.

The normal position of the uterus is forward tilted and flexed, which is conducive to the outflow of menstrual blood. If the uterus is backward tilted and flexed, it is easy to cause poor outflow of menstrual blood and create opportunities for menstrual blood to flow back into the abdominal cavity.

4. Abnormalities of reproductive organs.

Including congenital developmental abnormalities and acquired errors. Congenital development, such as uterine occlusion, hymen occlusion, etc. Uterine cavity and vaginal surgery can cause menstrual blood reflux.
