Will a large follicle be an ovarian cyst? What are the early symptoms of an ovarian cyst?

Can an oversized follicle be an ovarian cyst? What are the early symptoms of an ovarian cyst?

1. Under normal circumstances, 1-2 follicles mature and are discharged from the normal ovaries of mature women every month, that is, ovulation. In some abnormal cases, the follicles develop more, but the discharge is unsuccessful, which may form follicular cysts; or the corpus luteum formed after ovulation increases in cysticity and becomes a corpus luteum cyst. These are all called physiological cysts and may disappear after menstruation. However, the diameter of this physiological cyst is usually less than 5CM. The diameter of benign tumors greater than 5CM is usually used for cysts.

2. The early symptoms of ovarian cysts are clinically manifested as abdominal pain, abdominal discomfort, increased vaginal discharge, yellow vaginal discharge, vaginal discharge odor, abnormal menstruation, usually a firm and painless swelling in the abdomen, and sometimes pain during sexual intercourse.

3. When the cyst affects hormone production, symptoms such as irregular vaginal bleeding or increased hair growth may occur. If the cyst is twisted, there will be severe abdominal pain, abdominal discomfort, difficulty breathing, loss of appetite, nausea and fever. Large cysts will compress the bladder, causing frequent urination and difficulty urinating. Especially when these symptoms are severe, bleeding is frequent, and occur at the same time, women are more likely to suffer from ovarian cysts, and the harm of malignant ovarian cancer is greater.

4. The patient notices that his clothes or belt seem tight, and he just notices that his abdomen is enlarged, or he feels it accidentally in the morning, so he presses his abdomen and finds a tumor in the abdomen. In addition, he has abdominal distension and discomfort. In this case, he should go to the hospital for a laparoscopy in time to check the nature of the cyst.
