Causes and treatments of pelvic effusion

Causes and treatments of pelvic effusion:

Pelvic effusion may be due to physiological reasons, or it may be caused by pelvic inflammation or endometriosis, which can be treated with medication.

1. Physiological reasons:

Generally during menstruation or ovulation, due to changes in hormone levels in the body, a small amount of physiological pelvic fluid may occur. This is a normal physiological phenomenon and generally does not require treatment.

2. Pelvic inflammatory disease:

It is usually caused by inflammatory exudation. Since the pelvic cavity is relatively low, when pelvic inflammation occurs, the inflammation causes cell fluid to exude. The exuded fluid cannot be absorbed in time, so it is easy to accumulate in the pelvic area, leading to pelvic fluid accumulation. Drugs such as ampicillin capsules, ofloxacin capsules, and levofloxacin hydrochloride capsules can be used for treatment.

3. Endometriosis

Endometriosis refers to the appearance of endometrial tissue with growth function outside the uterine cavity and uterine myometrium. After endometriosis occurs, it will constantly stimulate the surrounding normal uterine mucosal tissue, causing congestion and edema, inflammatory exudation, and increased inflammatory exudation, accumulating in the pelvic and abdominal cavities to form effusions. Drugs such as danazol capsules, mifepristone tablets, and triptorelin acetate injection can be used.

Factors such as vaginitis and cervicitis may also cause pelvic effusion. Once the patient experiences this condition, he or she needs to go to the hospital in time for examination, identify the cause, and then receive targeted treatment.
