How to treat bilateral adnexitis

How is bilateral adnexitis treated?

Bilateral adnexitis can be treated with general treatment, drug therapy, physical therapy, etc.

1. General treatment: Bilateral adnexitis can be caused by the genital mucosa or lymphatic system. After the disease occurs, symptoms such as lower abdominal pain, increased vaginal discharge, fever, and headache will appear. Patients need to pay attention to keeping the abdomen warm to avoid cold stimulation aggravating the symptoms. During the illness, they should also pay attention to rest and avoid strenuous exercise or overwork to avoid affecting the recovery of the disease.

2. Drug treatment: After the disease occurs, you can take metronidazole tablets, cefuroxime capsules, levofloxacin hydrochloride capsules and other drugs under the guidance of a doctor to play an anti-infection role. If the condition is serious, you can also intravenously inject antibiotics such as ceftriaxone sodium, levofloxacin hydrochloride injection, amoxicillin sodium, etc.

3. Physical therapy: Patients can also cooperate with physical therapies such as laser therapy, ultrashort wave therapy, ultraviolet therapy, etc. to promote local blood circulation and accelerate the absorption and disappearance of inflammation.

In addition to the above methods, there are usually total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. You need to see a doctor in time after you get sick to avoid delaying the condition. You should also pay attention to your diet during treatment. Do not eat spicy foods such as chili peppers, garlic, ginger, etc., so as not to aggravate the discomfort.
