Can you get pregnant with endometriosis?

It is possible for women with endometriosis to conceive.

Endometriosis refers to the growth of endometrial tissue glands and stroma outside the uterine cavity and uterine muscle layer. Ectopic endometrium can invade any part of the body, but most of them are located in the pelvic organs and parietal peritoneum, and are more common in the ovaries and sacroiliac ligaments. Patients generally have symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, menstrual disorders, and sexual pain. Some patients also have infertility symptoms, but not all patients will have them, so pregnancy is possible.

Patients with endometriosis need to see a doctor, undergo blood tests, and imaging tests to determine their condition, and then follow the doctor's advice for medication treatment, such as medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets, medroxyprogesterone acetate dispersible tablets, and gestrinone capsules, which can improve symptoms, but when the condition is severe, surgical treatment is required.

Through the above active treatment, the disease generally does not affect the patient's pregnancy. During the period of pregnancy preparation, you should pay attention to rest, avoid staying up late and overwork. Do appropriate exercise to enhance resistance and promote disease recovery. At the same time, the diet should be light and balanced. You can eat some fresh vegetables and fruits, such as tomatoes, dragon fruit, carrots, kiwis, etc., and avoid eating spicy foods, such as peppers, mustard, leeks, etc. If you have any discomfort, seek medical attention in time.
