What are the symptoms of ovarian cysts?

As one of the common gynecological diseases, ovarian cysts pose certain hazards to women's health, and their clinical symptoms may vary depending on their size, nature, location, development and complications.

Usually, ovarian cysts have no clinical symptoms in the early stages of the disease. If it is a physiological cyst, it may disappear on its own with the menstrual cycle. When the cyst reaches a certain size, discomfort in the lower abdomen will occur. During a physical examination, there will be a feeling of swelling in the lower abdomen or nest. Since ovarian cysts are asymptomatic in the early stages but can be detected through abdominal color Doppler ultrasound and gynecological examinations, women are advised to undergo regular gynecological examinations every year for early diagnosis and early treatment.
