What should I do if I have pelvic inflammatory disease and cannot do without anti-inflammatory drugs every month?

Pelvic inflammatory disease refers to inflammation of the female pelvic reproductive organs, connective tissue around the uterus, and pelvic peritoneum. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is often caused by incomplete and delayed treatment of the acute phase, and its onset time is long and the condition is stubborn. Bacteria retrogradely infect the uterus and fallopian tubes to the pelvic cavity. But in real life, not all women will suffer from pelvic inflammatory disease, and the incidence rate is only a few.

The occurrence or induction of pelvic inflammatory disease is related to sexually transmitted diseases, childbirth or abortion, intrauterine surgery, poor menstrual hygiene, inflammation of adjacent organs, etc.

1. Sexually transmitted diseases: such as gonorrhea, chlamydia infection, etc., can cause pelvic inflammatory disease through sexual contact.

2. Childbirth or miscarriage: leads to decreased resistance and prone to infection.

3. Uterine cavity surgery: such as placement or removal of intrauterine contraceptive ring, curettage, hysterosalpingography, etc.

4. Poor hygiene during menstruation: Resistance decreases during menstruation. If you do not pay attention to hygiene, the risk of infection will increase.

5. Inflammation of adjacent organs: Bacteria from appendicitis, peritoneum and other parts can spread to the pelvic cavity and cause pelvic inflammation.
