Pelvic inflammatory disease, stomach pain, gas and farting

Patients with pelvic inflammatory disease will pass gas and fart when they have abdominal pain. This may be caused by pelvic fluid stimulation, cold, dietary factors, intestinal flora imbalance, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. General treatment or drug treatment may be required. It is recommended to seek medical attention as soon as possible. Usually, it is necessary to take medication measures according to the doctor's orders according to the cause of the disease.

1. Pelvic effusion irritation: Pelvic inflammatory disease may be caused by pathogen infection. The serous fluid in the inflamed area cannot be absorbed by the body. After spreading to the pelvic cavity, pelvic effusion will occur. If the amount of effusion is large, it may cause abnormal intestinal peristalsis and increased flatus. You can use drugs such as clindamycin hydrochloride capsules, metronidazole tablets or ceftriaxone sodium for injection for treatment under the guidance of a doctor.

2. Cold: If you do not keep your body warm during the treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease, catching a cold will cause faster intestinal peristalsis, which may lead to increased flatulence and abdominal pain. This can be improved by applying hot compresses, which can promote local blood circulation, accelerate the absorption and disappearance of inflammation, and help relieve pain.

3. Dietary factors: If you eat too much gas-producing food during treatment, such as onions and soy products, you will experience bloating and increased gas. You can adjust your diet appropriately.

4. Intestinal flora imbalance: If antibiotics are used blindly during treatment, the balance of intestinal flora may be disrupted, resulting in symptoms such as abdominal distension, loss of appetite, and increased flatulence. You can follow the doctor's advice to use drugs such as lactobacillus tablets, Clostridium butyricum live bacteria tablets, or Bacillus subtilis combined live bacteria granules for treatment.

5. Irritable bowel syndrome: It may be caused by abnormal gastrointestinal motility and nervous system abnormalities, which can easily cause intestinal microecological imbalance, resulting in symptoms such as abdominal distension, abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea, and can also lead to increased intestinal gas production and gas discharge. It is necessary to use mesalazine sustained-release tablets, compound aminoamide enteric-coated tablets or wheat cellulose granules and other drugs for treatment according to the doctor's instructions.

It may also be related to functional dyspepsia and other reasons. You can go to the hospital for relevant examinations and then follow the doctor's instructions for treatment. Try to eat light and easily digestible food during treatment.
