Can moderate cervical erosion be cured by taking medicine? Three best treatments for moderate cervical erosion

As a patient with moderate cervical erosion, I would like to ask experts whether moderate cervical erosion can be cured by taking medicine. Experts believe that moderate cervical erosion still requires oral and topical treatment, and a two-pronged approach can quickly cure it.

How to treat moderate cervical erosion?

Moderate cervical erosion can be treated with three methods: medication, physical therapy, and surgery. Generally, mild and moderate cervical erosion are suitable for medication. In addition, physical therapy is also a widely used treatment for moderate cervical erosion, suitable for patients with larger erosion areas and deeper inflammatory infiltration. However, the side effects are large and it is easy to relapse. Commonly used treatments for moderate cervical erosion include electric ironing, laser therapy, and cryotherapy. Before physical therapy surgery, the vulva, vagina, and cervix should be routinely disinfected. Due to the large amount of fluid discharged after surgery, it is necessary to keep the vulva clean and dry to prevent infection.

(1) Drug treatment: For patients with small erosions and shallow inflammatory infiltration, drugs can be used to treat erosions.

(2) Physical therapy: used for cervical erosion with a large erosion area and deep inflammatory infiltration.

① Electric ironing: Use a special electric iron to burn the eroded surface tissue, causing it to necrotize and fall off, and the ironing must reach a certain depth, so that the treatment effect is good.

② Cryotherapy: Use a special rapid freezing device to freeze, necrotize, and fall off the cervical erosion surface. The commonly used cryogen is liquid nitrogen, which can reduce the temperature of the freezing head of the freezer to -196 degrees Celsius. It is placed on the surface of the cervix to freeze the eroded tissue, necrotize, and fall off, and then new epithelial tissue will grow again. It can be cured in one time. Generally, there are no adverse reactions. A few patients have mild dizziness, lower abdominal pain, etc.

③ Laser treatment: Carbon dioxide laser therapy device is often used to irradiate the cervical erosion tissue with a special laser treatment head, so that the erosion tissue is carbonized, indurated, and falls off, and new squamous epithelium grows again. Generally, one treatment can cure the disease. There is no special discomfort during the operation. A few patients have bleeding when the induration is removed.

④KS instrument treatment: It is a treatment using special wavelengths of light and heat, which is painless and effective. During the treatment with the above methods, attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the vulva, and daily life, vaginal irrigation and sitting bathing are prohibited. Regular check-ups should also be conducted to observe the healing of the erosion surface.

(3) Surgical treatment: For patients who are ineffective with medication and physical therapy, have deep or large cervical erosion, have cervical hypertrophy, or are suspected of having cancer, cervical cone resection or total hysterectomy may be considered.

Warm reminder: If you want to cure cervical erosion quickly, you should still follow the doctor's advice and have surgery if necessary.
