Cervical erosion can be divided into mild, moderate and severe according to the severity of the disease. Most patients have mild to moderate cervical erosion. This disease is prone to cause leucorrhea symptoms, such as increased leucorrhea, color change, odor, leucorrhea with blood, etc. Severe cases can cause lumbar pain, urinary pain, etc. 1. Abnormal leucorrhea Increased vaginal discharge. Due to different pathogens, vaginal discharge can be milky white mucus, or light yellow, purulent or bloody. Milky white mucus is the most common. In addition to increased vaginal discharge, the symptoms of moderate cervical erosion include lower back pain, bleeding during sexual intercourse, etc. 2. Increased leucorrhea: Increased vaginal discharge is the main symptom of cervical erosion. The vaginal discharge of patients with cervical erosion will be yellow, light yellow, sticky, or purulent. The vaginal discharge has a peculiar smell and irritates the vulva, causing itching. If the cervical erosion covers a large area, the amount of vaginal discharge will be large, and occasionally there may be a small amount of blood. Some patients are mainly accompanied by contact bleeding. 3. Frequent urination or difficulty urinating: When the inflammation spreads to the trigone or around the bladder, frequent urination or difficulty urinating may occur. 4. Pain: When the pathogens spread to a deeper area, lumbar pain, pelvic pain and dysmenorrhea may occur. If the inflammation spreads to the main ligament, sexual intercourse pain may occur, affecting sexual life. When the cervix is touched during a gynecological examination, the patient will feel pain in the lumbar or iliac fossa. 5. Bladder symptoms: Inflammation of the cervix can spread via the lymphatic pathway or directly to the connective tissue around the bladder, and even to the trigone of the bladder, thereby stimulating the bladder and causing symptoms of painful urination, and sometimes secondary urinary tract infection. |
