How to prevent chronic cervicitis and infertility? Five issues to pay attention to when treating chronic cervicitis

Chronic cervicitis is usually caused by exogenous infection. However, when the body's resistance is reduced, or the cervix is affected by some factors, the secretion increases, and the outer part of the cervix is immersed in the secretion for a long time, it is very easy to be attacked by pathogens and cause disease. Chronic cervicitis can be clinically divided into cervical erosion, cervical hypertrophy, cervical polyps, cervical glandular cysts and endocervicitis, among which cervical erosion is the most common.

Chronic cervicitis is a common and frequently occurring gynecological disease, which may occur in more than half of married women. The doctor's treatment is certainly important, but the patient's own protection is also very important. So what issues should patients with chronic cervicitis pay attention to during treatment?

First, ensure rest, pay attention to menstrual hygiene and vulva cleanliness to prevent inflammation.

Second, sexual intercourse is strictly prohibited during treatment.

Third, take contraceptive measures to avoid mechanical damage to the cervix caused by multiple abortions. At the same time, gynecological surgery should be performed by experienced doctors, and the operation should be sterile and gentle to prevent iatrogenic infection and damage. Sexual intercourse should be strictly prohibited during menstruation and after childbirth to prevent pathogens from taking advantage of the situation.

Fourth, eat more fruits, vegetables and light food. Avoid spicy and greasy food during treatment to prevent dampness and heat from lingering and causing recurrence of the disease.

5. For patients who fail to recover after long-term treatment, surgical treatment may be given if necessary.

Cervicitis is a common gynecological disease and an important factor in female infertility. Clinically, it is divided into acute and chronic types. The chronic type is the most common and has the highest incidence rate, accounting for more than 50% of married women.

Bad hygiene habits, estrogen deficiency, and poor local resistance to infection are all factors that induce chronic cervicitis. In fact, after understanding these factors, we can actively prevent chronic cervicitis.

How can we prevent it? Since cervicitis is mostly caused by exogenous infection, it is very important to prevent exogenous infection.

① Pay attention to personal hygiene. Take a bath frequently, change underwear frequently, wash the vulva with warm water every day, and do not use unclean bathing utensils, including avoiding using other people's towels and soaps.

② Pay attention to menstrual hygiene. Use qualified menstrual pads, take a rest during menstruation, and refrain from swimming during menstruation.

③Avoid cross infection in public places, including public baths, swimming pools, hotels and public toilets.

④ Strengthen physical fitness and improve personal ability to resist disease.

⑤ After marriage, you should pay attention to sexual contact infection and avoid sexual intercourse during menstruation. If you have sexually transmitted diseases, including syphilis, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, etc., both husband and wife must be treated at the same time, and the treatment must be thorough.

⑥ Leucorrhea is the "mirror" of the cervix. Once you experience symptoms such as increased leucorrhea, back pain, and lower abdominal distension, you should go to the hospital in time to ensure early diagnosis and early treatment.

⑦ Regular gynecological examinations
