After people find that they have chronic cervicitis, they need to take some timely treatment methods. There are actually many treatments for chronic cervicitis. Surgical therapy can be used, and systemic therapy is also critical. Of course, if the patient's condition is not particularly serious, cryotherapy can also be considered. After people find that they have chronic cervicitis, we need to take some treatment methods in time. Chronic cervicitis does cause serious harm to people. There are actually many treatment methods for this disease. For example, we can take surgical treatment or systemic treatment, and we can also rely on cryotherapy. 1. High-frequency electric ironing or high-frequency electric wave electrocoagulation The lesion tissue is coagulated or dried up by electrocoagulation, and the necrosis melts, completely destroying the erosion surface. This method is relatively simple. The depth of electric ironing depends on the severity of the lesion, generally 2 to 3 mm; the range of electric ironing is 1 to 2 mm beyond the edge of the lesion. It has good efficacy and few side effects. 2. Cryotherapy Cryotherapy uses refrigerants to quickly produce ultra-low temperatures, causing the diseased tissue to freeze, necrotize, degenerate and fall off, and the wound surface is repaired to achieve the treatment purpose. Cryotherapy is a safe, efficient, simple, stable and painless method. 3. Surgical treatment Cervical polyps can be removed and sent for pathological examination. Cervical cone resection can be performed for those with deep and wide cervical erosion or those involving the endocervical canal. Traditional procedures cause more bleeding and are rarely used now. Currently, loop electrosurgical excision surgery is more effective. Asymptomatic small cervical gland cysts can be left untreated. When the cysts are large or infected, electrocautery, microwave or laser irradiation can be used to puncture the cysts and release the cystic fluid. Local medications for cervical mucositis have poor effects and often require systemic medication. Antibiotics are selected based on endocervical canal secretion culture and drug sensitivity tests. 4. Systemic treatment Systemic treatment is suitable for patients with endocervicitis, whose cervix is smooth in appearance and has purulent secretions in the endocervical canal. Cervical secretions can be taken for culture and drug sensitivity test, so as to select the corresponding anti-infective drugs. For congenital cervical erosion, most patients will heal the erosion surface on their own with age or after the first pregnancy, and generally no special treatment is required. Vaginal acid flushing can be performed for those with more secretions. When there is secondary infection causing chronic cervicitis, it can be treated as general cervical erosion. The above four points are the treatment methods of chronic cervicitis that we introduce to you. Although the symptoms of chronic cervicitis do not seem to be particularly obvious, this disease will exist for a long time and make patients feel unbearable. Therefore, for this disease, we can adopt surgery or systemic treatment methods. |
