How to determine if a medical abortion is complete? You will know after reading this

Medical abortion is a method many women choose, which is convenient and does little harm to the body. The most worrying factor about using medical abortion is that the abortion is not clean. The main manifestation of judging whether the abortion is clean is to observe whether the fetal sac is discharged after taking the medicine, and accurately judge the difference between the fetal sac and the blood clot. During this period, it should also be noted that if the abortion is not clean, it will be accompanied by some pregnancy reactions and vaginal bleeding symptoms.

When a woman becomes pregnant unexpectedly and is not ready to have a baby, she will terminate the pregnancy through medical abortion or surgical abortion. Medical abortion causes little pain and relatively little harm to the body, so it is the abortion method of choice for many women. However, women who choose medical abortion will worry about whether it can be cleaned up. Otherwise, they will need to undergo curettage, which will cause greater harm to the body. So how can medical abortion be considered clean?
Terminating pregnancy within 49 days after an unexpected pregnancy is the best time for medical abortion. Of course, this is only a reference time for medical abortion. When to do medical abortion mainly depends on the results of B-ultrasound examination. Medical abortion is appropriate when the gestational sac reaches a certain size. It is not the commonly believed that the earlier the medical abortion, the better.
For medical abortion, most hospitals take the medicine for 2 consecutive days, and the dosage should follow the doctor's advice. It is best to fast for 1 hour after taking the medicine. On the third morning, take another abortion pill on an empty stomach. After taking the medicine, the adverse reaction is mild and most women do not feel anything.
After taking the medicine, you can work as usual. A few people may have slight dizziness, abdominal pain and a small amount of vaginal bleeding. After taking the second medicine, about 70% of people will expel the fetal sac within 4-6 hours. The fetal sac discharged with blood is pink fleshy tissue, and sometimes a small blister can be seen.
If the gestational sac is not expelled during the observation period in the hospital, please pay attention to vaginal discharge after returning home. At this time, pay special attention to the differentiation of gestational sac and blood clots, and go to the hospital for reexamination after 1 week. A small number of women (4%-5%) can expel the gestational sac if they take mifepristone. If the bleeding is not much, you can use a clean small bottle to keep the discharge and take it to the hospital for examination on the third day. If there is a lot of bleeding, you should take the discharge to the hospital for treatment immediately.
After a medical abortion, a woman's basic pregnancy response will end. These symptoms may indicate that the pregnancy has not been terminated:
1. Nausea and greasiness: Typical symptoms of incomplete medical abortion are nausea, irritability, abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, etc.
2. If the medical abortion is not clean, infection may occur: If the half-segment B-ultrasound shows that there is no residue in the uterus, intrauterine infection should be considered, because the bleeding from medical abortion is a good medium for bacteria. During the gynecological examination, the uterus will be tender, and symptoms such as fever will appear.
3. After medical abortion, abdominal pain is usually present, and vaginal bleeding lasts for 1-3 weeks, with the amount of bleeding gradually decreasing. If the bleeding does not decrease or gradually increases, it is a symptom of incomplete medication.
