Is abortion harmful? See what doctors say

The harm of abortion to the human body is different. Some people may become infertile for life after a single abortion, while some people can still conceive normally even after four or five abortions. Therefore, this situation varies from person to person and may have a lot to do with the doctor who performed the operation. Moreover, if a uterine cavity infection is caused after abortion, and the woman's own physique is weak and she has not gotten enough rest, it is easy to cause irregular menstruation and inflammation of the endometrium.

The most common types of abortion are artificial abortion and medical abortion. If the medical abortion is not clean, it will have to be converted to artificial abortion. If the doctor performs the artificial abortion improperly and uses more force than usual during the curettage, it will easily cause endometrial damage and uterine adhesions. Even infection can occur if the disinfection is not strict, leading to infertility. So, is there any harm in having an abortion?
1. Cause infertility
Although there are many ways to have an abortion, no matter which method is used, if the removal is not thorough and there are residual tissue cells in the body, then it must be converted to an artificial abortion with curettage. Curettage is actually performed by the doctor based on his own experience, that is, it is an estimate and cleaning, because the doctor cannot see the inside of the uterus, and can only rely on our B-ultrasound display to estimate the location of the residual cells in the body. Therefore, if the operation is improper, it will easily cause uterine perforation, which will lead to cervical adhesions and chronic pelvic inflammatory disease in the later stage, thus causing infertility.
2. Damage to the endometrium
Abortion and curettage are extremely harmful to the endometrium. Repeated miscarriages can further damage the various functions of the endometrium. The endometrium becomes thinner, and the menstrual flow will decrease, because menstruation is actually the shedding of the endometrium. If the amount of menstruation decreases, the gestational sac will not be able to implant if the woman becomes pregnant again in the later stage.
3. Cause various uterine inflammations
The most basic cause of miscarriage is to dilate the cervix. When the cervix is slightly dilated, various bacteria will take the opportunity to enter the vagina, thereby damaging the various functions of the cervix to a greater extent. Severe cases will cause damage to the cervical function. Therefore, if you get pregnant again in the later stage and wait until the month is higher, signs of miscarriage are likely to appear, and it will also induce vaginitis. If the inflammation spreads, it will cause other chronic inflammations in the uterus, so miscarriage must be avoided.
The harm caused by abortion to women is actually visible to the naked eye. Even some harms that we cannot see are quite large. Women are the ones who suffer the most from abortion, both psychologically and physically. Some injuries are irreversible. Therefore, I hope that women will take protective measures and love themselves well.
