What's going on after two years of menopause? Go to the hospital for a detailed examination in time

If menstruation comes again two years after menopause, you should be alert at this time, this is clinical postmenopausal bleeding. For postmenopausal bleeding, first of all, you should be alert to whether there is organic lesions. The so-called organic lesions, to put it simply, are endometrial lesions, cervical lesions, or ovarian tumors, which are common gynecological diseases. At this time, you should see an obstetrician and gynecologist, and through the doctor's examination, rule out the cervical lesions and endometrial lesions mentioned above.

Menopause refers to the period when women gradually transition from the sexual maturity period of vigorous fertility to the period when they lose their reproductive function. Generally, the end of menstruation is the most obvious sign between the ages of 45 and 55. Menopause is not menopause. Menopause is a transitional period when the female ovarian function gradually declines from a vigorous state to a complete disappearance. With the improvement of living standards, this age will be delayed. So what happened to menopause after two years of menopause?
Once a woman enters menopause, she will stop menstruating. However, many women still have menstruation after menopause. If a woman has menstruation again after two years of amenorrhea, the first thing to consider is that it is caused by disease.
Infection is the most common cause. After menopause, women's estrogen levels drop and their body resistance decreases accordingly. Endometritis and senile vaginitis are common diseases at this stage. Clinically, they may present as vaginal bleeding, but the amount of bleeding is relatively small. It can be diagnosed through secretion testing, gynecological color ultrasound and other examinations.
Endometrial polyps and cervical polyps can also cause vaginal bleeding. If vaginal bleeding is highly suspected to be caused by polyps, the polyps should be removed immediately and sent for pathological examination to clarify their nature, so as to determine the next diagnosis and treatment plan.
Endometrial cancer, cervical cancer and other diseases may have a lower incidence rate than other diseases, but the consequences are more serious. Estrogen fluctuations are endocrine factors and are also relatively common. After menopause, although women's ovarian function decreases and hormone levels drop, the endometrium does not lose its response to hormones. When other hormones in the body are converted into small amounts of estrogen, vaginal bleeding can still occur.
If women experience menstruation after menopause, they should go to the hospital's gynecology department in time for a detailed gynecological examination, leucorrhea test, cervical scraping and B-ultrasound examination. If necessary, a segmented diagnostic curettage or hysteroscopy should be performed to identify the cause and then provide symptomatic treatment.
