How much does it cost to check for intrauterine adhesions?

Intrauterine adhesions are also a gynecological disease, so women with intrauterine adhesions must undergo special examinations. What examinations should be done for intrauterine adhesions?

◆Examination 1. Uterine probe examination: Generally, when the uterine probe is inserted about 1-3cm into the cervix, there will be a sense of resistance, most of the time it is around 2cm.

◆Inspection 2. Hysteroscopy: to understand whether there is intrauterine adhesion and determine the location, range, degree and organization of the adhesion.

◆Examination 3. The characteristics of iodized oil hysterography are

1) There may be one or more well-defined, sharp-edged, abnormally shaped, irregularly filled defects in the uterine cavity that do not change due to the pressure or dose of injected contrast agent.

2) The local edge of the uterine cavity is irregular.

3) When iodized oil is injected into the blood vessels from the exfoliated endometrial surface, the pressure is too high, and small reticular vascular shadows often appear.

4) For some uteri with adhesions, if they are highly curved or curved backwards, the images of the uterus and cervix often overlap and blur, and the uterus appears olive-shaped. In this case, the cervix can be pulled with a cervical clamp to stretch the uterus, and the uterine image can also change from olive shape to triangle shape. In order to prevent chronic inflammation caused by oil plugs and oil agents, water-soluble contrast agents can also be used. Mild adhesions can be separated by contrast.

The cost of hysteroscopy cannot be determined. The degree of intrauterine adhesions varies from person to person, and the examination items and costs are also different. The hospital chosen by the patient will also affect the cost of intrauterine adhesion examination.
