What are the traditional Chinese medicine methods for treating adnexitis?

Adnexitis is a very common gynecological disease in women. Many female friends do not know how to treat adnexitis. Especially some unmarried female friends think that the side effects of Western medicine are too great and they are afraid that it will affect their future fertility. In this case, you can choose to use traditional Chinese medicine for treatment.

1. Damp-heat type

Modifications to the prescription for stopping leucorrhea: Take 12g each of Poria, Plantago seed (package), Red Peony Root, 10g each of Phellodendron, Achyranthes bidentata, Cortex Moutan, Atractylodes, 6g each of Alisma orientalis and Capillaris; if abdominal pain is obvious, add 10g each of Corydalis yanhusuo and Toosendan fruit to promote qi and relieve pain; if appetite is poor and stool is loose, Atractylodes can be replaced with stir-fried Atractylodes 10g, add 20g of raw Coix seed and 18g of Poria. It has the effects of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness, clearing away heat and removing dampness, and is helpful for the treatment of adnexitis.

2. Stasis and heat syndrome

Guiyuanhu Decoction: Patrinia 20g, Angelica, Corydalis, Rhubarb, Red Peony Root, Peach Kernel 15g each, Cyperus rotundus 12g, decoct in water and take orally; if the lower abdomen is obviously stinging, add frankincense and myrrh 10g each to remove blood stasis and stop bleeding; for patients with adnexitis with obvious lower abdominal distension and pain, add Toosendan Fructus and Citrus Aurantii Immaturus 10g each to promote qi and stop pain; if the menstrual flow is scanty, dark in color and clots, add Leonurus japonicus 20g to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. If the leucorrhea is heavy and yellow in color, add Artemisia capillaris 15g and Alisma orientalis 12g, which has the effects of clearing dampness and heat, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and clearing heat and detoxifying.

3. Cold and dampness stagnation type

Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction: Take 15g of Poria, 12g each of Angelica sinensis and red peony root, 10g each of myrrh, wormwood, Atractylodes macrocephala, Zedoaria herba, and Scutellaria scabra, 9g each of fennel, Ligusticum chuanxiong, and cinnamon twig, and 6g of dried ginger, decocted in water and taken orally; if the amount of leucorrhea is large and white and thin, add 10g each of nutmeg and ginkgo to warm the kidney and stop the leucorrhea; if the waist pain is obvious, add 20g of Chuanduan and 10g of Eucommia ulmoides, which has the effects of nourishing the kidney and strengthening the waist, warming the yang and dispersing the cold, and promoting blood circulation and removing dampness.
