How can we cure dysmenorrhea? Dysmenorrhea will affect the patient's health. Usually, we should not ignore the harm of this disease and treat it effectively. Many female patients do not take dysmenorrhea seriously, delay treatment for a long time, and let it develop. In fact, severe dysmenorrhea will cause infertility. Therefore, we must pay enough attention to it. So, how can we cure dysmenorrhea? 1. Prostaglandin synthase inhibitors: To reduce the release of prostaglandins, you can take 25 mg of indomethacin, or 0.3 g of acetylsalicylic acid, or 250 mg of meclofenamic acid orally 3 to 5 days before menstruation, 2 to 4 times a day, which may be effective. 2. Acupuncture and moxibustion for dysmenorrhea: When dysmenorrhea occurs, the main acupoints for acupuncture (or moxibustion) are Qihai, Hegu, Sanyinjiao; the auxiliary acupoints are Guanyuan, uterus, and Zusanli. First, acupuncture the main acupoints, strongly stimulate, and leave the needles for 10 to 15 minutes. If the pain persists, add auxiliary acupoints or moxibustion Qihai and Guanyuan. 3. Progesterone: Treatment of membranous dysmenorrhea. By supplementing progesterone, the balance with estrogen is restored, and the endometrium can be normally exfoliated in fragments during menstruation, which can relieve the pain caused by spasmodic contraction of the uterus. From the 21st day of menstruation, intramuscular injection of progesterone 20 mg/day, a total of 5 times. 4. Pain relief and antispasmodic: Place a hot water bag in the lower abdomen, take somidol, codeine or belladonna mixture as appropriate, and inject 0.5 mg of atropine when necessary. It is best not to use or use less pethidine, morphine, etc. to prevent addiction. 5. Symptomatic treatment of dysmenorrhea: For patients with small cervical opening or cervical stenosis, try using a cervical dilator before menstruation, slowly dilating to 6-7 in sequence, so that menstrual blood can flow smoothly and reduce the sensitivity of the sympathetic nerve fibers around the cervical opening to achieve the purpose of treating dysmenorrhea. If necessary, it can be continued for 2-3 cycles. For patients with retroverted and retroflexed uterus, chest-knee lying position can be tried, 1-2 times a day, each time for 10-15 minutes. Friends who suffer from dysmenorrhea should eat more nutritious foods rich in high-quality protein, trace elements (iron, copper, etc.), folic acid and vitamin B12 in daily life, such as red dates, lotus seeds, longan meat, walnuts, hawthorn, pork liver, pig blood, eel, sea cucumber, black chicken, eggs, spinach, carrots, black fungus, black sesame, shrimp, brown sugar, etc. These foods are rich in nutrients and are very helpful in treating dysmenorrhea. |
