How to treat threatened abortion?

How to treat threatened abortion? Because the pregnant woman's body will undergo many changes during pregnancy, special attention should be paid to diet and lifestyle. If the care is not done properly, threatened abortion may occur, and the occurrence of threatened abortion may lead to termination of pregnancy. So how to treat threatened abortion?

Eight principles for preserving pregnancy after a miscarriage

1. Pregnancy preservation period. In principle, the pregnancy preservation period is 2 weeks. If the symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks, it indicates that the embryo may be abnormally developed. B-ultrasound examination and β-HCG measurement are required to determine the condition of the embryo and give corresponding treatment. If necessary, the pregnancy should be terminated.

2. Preserve the fetus according to the cause. Whether the occurrence of threatened miscarriage will lead to miscarriage often depends on whether the embryo is abnormal. After rest and treatment, the cause of miscarriage is eliminated and the pregnancy can continue. For example, if the threatened miscarriage is only caused by excessive fatigue, physical labor, abdominal trauma, etc., the fetus can be preserved as long as the embryo is healthy. If the threatened miscarriage is caused by endocrine disorders, such as luteal insufficiency (luteal insufficiency [translation]: the corpus luteum is not formed after ovulation of the ovary, resulting in insufficient secretion of progesterone. The main manifestations are shortened menstrual cycle, frequent menstruation, infertility or miscarriage.) or hypothyroidism, it can be treated with progesterone, vitamin E or thyroid hormone supplementation.

3. Pay attention to rest. Pregnant women should rest in bed more and reduce activities, but this does not mean lying in bed for 24 hours without moving. They should do some light activities appropriately. Sexual intercourse must be prohibited, and unnecessary vaginal examinations should be minimized to reduce stimulation to the uterus. In addition, breast stimulation should be avoided, because breast stimulation can also cause uterine contractions and lead to threatened abortion.

4. Pay attention to abdominal pain in case of threatened abortion. If you experience backache and a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen that does not ease after rest or even gets worse, you should be alert. If the lower abdominal pain gets worse, accompanied by vaginal bleeding and tissue-like discharge, you should report it to your doctor immediately.

5. Do not use drugs randomly to protect the fetus. If pregnant mothers find signs of threatened abortion, they should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible, instead of choosing drugs to protect the fetus at will. Because there are many reasons for threatened abortion, and the treatment methods vary from person to person, if you cannot choose drugs to protect the fetus according to the cause, it will be very dangerous to the fetus.

6. Pay attention to the amount and nature of bleeding. Observe whether there is any tissue in the vaginal discharge at any time. It is best to keep the discharge for the doctor to observe. If the amount of bleeding increases, go to the hospital for treatment in time.

7. Choose a suitable diet. In particular, choose foods rich in various vitamins and trace elements, such as various vegetables, fruits, beans, eggs, meat, etc. People with weak stomach and intestines should be cautious about taking foods with cold properties, such as mung beans, white fungus, lotus seeds, etc.; people with yin deficiency and excessive fire should be cautious about taking rooster, beef, dog meat, carp and other foods that are easy to cause internal heat.

(1) 50g lotus seeds and longan pulp, add 100g yam to make porridge. Start eating it after pregnancy, 1-2 times a day. It is suitable for those with vaginal bleeding, lower abdominal pain, sore waist and legs, pale tongue coating and a history of habitual abortion.

(2) Roast 3 pumpkin stalks and 6 lotus stalks until they turn yellow, grind them into powder, and take it in 3 doses with hot water. The powder should be finished in one day. It is suitable for patients who have experienced fetal movement, abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, bright red color, red face and dry mouth, fever in the five parts of the body, and short red urine and have threatened abortion due to blood heat after several months of pregnancy.

8. Keep warm and enhance immunity. Women who have threatened abortion are prone to low immunity. At this time, they should pay special attention to keeping warm, especially in autumn and winter to prevent colds. Do not delay treatment after being sick, and do not buy medicine by yourself. Consult a doctor before taking medicine.

Warm reminder: Modern urban people face huge pressure, which can easily lead to endocrine disorders, thus causing threatened abortion. Therefore, pregnant women should pay attention to regulating their emotions during pregnancy. If they find themselves showing signs of threatened abortion, they should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible. Remember not to choose pregnancy-preserving drugs at will.
