What are the symptoms of threatened miscarriage during mid-pregnancy?

What are the symptoms of threatened miscarriage in the second trimester? Generally speaking, the fetus is relatively stable in the second trimester. Unless the fetus itself is maldeveloped or is hit hard by the outside world, there will be no threatened miscarriage. However, this cannot be ruled out. So what are the symptoms of threatened miscarriage in the second trimester?

1. Vaginal bleeding: In the case of miscarriage within 3 months of pregnancy, the chorionic villi and decidua separate at the beginning, the blood sinuses open, and bleeding begins. When the embryo is completely peeled off and expelled, the uterus contracts strongly, the blood sinuses close, and the bleeding stops. Therefore, in the early stage, the whole process of this miscarriage is accompanied by vaginal bleeding. In the late stage of miscarriage, the placenta has been formed, and the miscarriage is similar to premature and full-term births, and generally there is not much bleeding.

2. Severe vomiting and inability to eat: These are early symptoms of threatened abortion and you should go to the hospital for treatment, because severe vomiting during pregnancy can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, which can endanger the life of the pregnant woman in severe cases.

3. Abdominal pain: After the bleeding begins in the early stage of miscarriage, there is blood in the uterine cavity, especially blood, which stimulates uterine contraction and presents persistent lower abdominal pain. In late stage miscarriage, there is paroxysmal uterine contraction first, and then placental separation, so there is abdominal pain before vaginal bleeding. Abdominal pain and bleeding are mostly progressive, which is related to their clinical course and progress.

After analyzing the symptoms of threatened abortion, it should be very helpful for expectant mothers. When encountering the above symptoms, do not be careless, be sure to send to the hospital in time, actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment, and avoid more serious consequences.
