How to recover quickly from threatened abortion

How to recover quickly from threatened abortion

Women of childbearing age will basically delay childbearing due to work reasons, which will increase the chance of threatened miscarriage. They have to work even when they are pregnant, and they cannot be absent from work for a long time if there are signs of miscarriage. The psychological pressure will be even greater, and their mood will not improve. In fact, they should not be too nervous. Threatened miscarriage is not a particularly serious problem. Next, let us understand how to recover quickly from threatened miscarriage.

First, let's understand threatened abortion. Threatened abortion refers to a small amount of vaginal bleeding or accompanied by lower back pain, abdominal pain, and prolapse before 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Then analyze the causes of threatened abortion:

(l) Deficiency of Qi and blood: The patient is usually weak, with a long-term deficiency of the spleen and stomach, and insufficient Qi in the middle, which makes it impossible to transform food and water into fine particles, which are then sent to the heart to produce blood. Or the patient has been ill for a long time or has been seriously ill, and the body is weak, with insufficient Qi to carry the fetus and insufficient blood to nourish the fetus, thus leading to symptoms such as fetal movement disorder or fetal leakage.

(2) Kidney deficiency: congenital kidney deficiency, or excessive sexual intercourse after pregnancy, or frequent miscarriages that damage kidney qi. Kidney deficiency can cause Chong and Ren meridians to become unstable, causing the fetus to lose its anchorage, thus leading to restless fetuses or miscarriage.

(3) Blood heat: After pregnancy, Yin blood gathers in the blood sea to nourish the fetus, which causes Yang Qi to be excessive. Or, after pregnancy, the woman develops a fever, which causes the internal heat to disturb the blood sea, forcing the blood to flow abnormally, damaging the fetus and causing fetal leakage and restless fetal movement.

(4) Trauma: Falls, sprains, or overexertion can damage the Qi and blood, affecting the Chong and Ren meridians, resulting in inability to nourish and carry the fetus, leading to fetal movement disorders.

The next method is to recover quickly from threatened abortion. The purpose of treating threatened abortion is to continue the pregnancy as much as possible. Generally, the following treatments should be done:

(1) General treatment: relieve mental concerns, rest in bed, adequate nutrition, avoid stimuli that cause uterine contractions, such as sexual intercourse, constipation, diarrhea, and repeated vaginal examinations.

(2) Drug treatment: 20 mg of progesterone acetate can be injected intramuscularly once a day for 3 to 5 days; 0.03 mg of luminal can be taken orally 3 times a day; 30 to 50 mg of vitamin E can be taken orally 3 times a day.

To preserve the pregnancy, the right medicine should be prescribed. In addition to staying in bed (try not to move around except for urination and defecation), and strictly prohibiting sexual intercourse, the patient should also maintain emotional stability, avoid a tense environment, supplement adequate nutrition, and take some vitamin E orally. If the embryo is normal, after rest and treatment, the cause of the miscarriage is eliminated, the bleeding will stop, and the pregnancy can continue. I wish you a happy pregnancy!
