The chances of curing infertility caused by endometrial tuberculosis

I believe that many women have gynecological diseases such as dysmenorrhea and irregular menstruation. When the disease is not serious, they do not pay attention to it. However, when it is serious, they will find out that they have endometrial tuberculosis. Due to women's neglect of the disease, the disease becomes more and more serious. Then treatment is very important. The following introduces the probability of curing infertility caused by endometrial tuberculosis.

1. Conservative treatment

Pseudo-pregnancy or pseudo-menopause therapy is often used, such as danazol and tamoxifen, nemetol, and provera, which artificially cause the cessation of menstruation to form a pseudo-pregnancy state. Without menstruation, there will be no dysmenorrhea, but this type of drug has great side effects and can cause certain damage to the liver and kidneys. Some patients have to stop taking the drug when the disease has not yet been cured due to side effects. After stopping the drug, menstruation will still occur and the disease will generally continue to develop.

2. Surgical treatment

(1) Radical surgery: This involves the complete removal of both ovaries and uterus. This is extremely cruel to young and childless women. The complications and sequelae caused by this surgery will cause certain physical and mental pain to the patient, and menopausal syndrome will occur after the surgery.

(2) Conservative surgery: local excision, peeling, and removal of the lesion. However, due to the heavy adhesion of the disease, the surgery is often incomplete. For example, after electrocauterization of tuberculosis lesions that have spread to the sacroiliac ligament and infiltrated the rectum, the recurrence rate is high. Laparoscopy is both a diagnostic method and a treatment method, but there is a high chance of recurrence after surgery. Currently, Western medicine makes it easier to diagnose the disease, but it is also difficult to treat.

Endometrial tuberculosis causes many women to suffer. In addition to menstrual pain and irregular menstruation, serious cases also cause infertility, and more importantly, mental torture. Therefore, early detection and early treatment will reduce the harm to women. We do not advocate that women delay treatment when they have the disease. Delaying treatment will not cure the disease and will only make the disease worse.
