How to prevent pelvic peritonitis

Small illnesses can have big impacts. Pelvic peritonitis is a common female disease, but it seriously affects our lives and work, so patients need timely treatment. So, why do single women suffer from pelvic peritonitis? Experts answer patients' questions. The main ways to prevent pelvic peritonitis are as follows:

1. Appropriate exercise: You can participate in various forms of sports activities, especially endurance training such as running and mountain climbing, to enhance your resistance.

2. Healthy weight loss: Some female friends, fearing obesity, simply rely on skipping meals to lose weight, which puts the body in an extremely weak state, and even causes serious damage to liver and kidney function, or becomes anorexic. This will cause a sharp drop in the body's resistance, and may lead to various types of infections, or even pelvic peritonitis.

3. Pay attention to menstrual hygiene: Currently, most female friends can avoid having sex during menstruation. However, due to the increasing work pressure of modern professional women, they cannot get enough rest during menstruation. Over time, this can easily lead to pelvic congestion, decreased resistance, and pelvic peritonitis.

4. Fixed sexual partner: With the progress of society, people's sexual concepts are gradually being updated. Extramarital sexual relations and multiple sexual partners have become commonplace. However, the increase in sexual partners also brings new sources of infection to female friends. Therefore, a serious attitude towards sex and a fixed sexual partner are the principles we should adhere to.

Under normal circumstances, the body can resist the invasion of bacteria. Only when the body's resistance is reduced or the natural defense function of women is damaged due to other reasons, will pelvic peritonitis occur. Patients with pelvic peritonitis are prone to fatigue. Scar adhesions and pelvic congestion caused by chronic inflammation can cause lower abdominal distension, pain, and lumbar pain, which often worsens during fatigue, sexual intercourse, and before and after menstruation.
