Cure rate of moxibustion for hyperprolactinemia

Hyperprolactinemia (HPRL) refers to a syndrome caused by internal and external environmental factors, characterized by elevated PRL (≥25ng/ml), amenorrhea, galactorrhea, anovulation and infertility. In the past 20 years, great progress has been made in the physiological and biochemical research on PRL, and the progress of PRL radioimmunoassay, cranial CT and MRI diagnostic technology has improved the diagnosis level of HPRL, and its incidence has also tended to increase. At the same time, the advent of the anti-prolactin drug Bromocriptine (Parlodel) and the development of transsphenoidal microsurgery have brought new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of HPRL.

In fact, I am not familiar with this disease, and I don't know much about its pathogenesis. But I know that it is a gynecological disease, and its typical symptoms are amenorrhea, galactorrhea, anovulation and infertility.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that: if the liver and kidney are deficient, the essence and blood are insufficient, the blood sea is empty, and there is no blood to flow, then amenorrhea will occur; if the qi and blood are weak and the kidney qi is not solid, then the milk will overflow. In fact, it is because of liver depression and qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm obstruction, and the meridians are blocked, so the menstrual blood has to flow downward; as the "Medical Biography" says: "Menstruation is entirely dependent on kidney water. If the kidney water is insufficient, the menstrual water will dry up day by day" and cause amenorrhea.

The moxibustion prescription is: Zhongwan, Shenque, Guanyuan, Zi, Guilai, Baxue, Zusanli, Sanyinjiao. Precautions for using the device: In warm weather, when you can open the windows, I suggest you use a moxibustion box for moxibustion, because the moxibustion box can directly target the skin and acupoints for moxibustion, and the effect will be better. In winter, you cannot open the windows or expose the skin for moxibustion, so it is best to use a moxibustion jar.

You can buy two single-eye moxibustion boxes, one four-eye moxibustion box or one six-eye moxibustion box. The single-eye box can be used to moxibustion the Zusanli and Sanyinjiao points of the limbs, and the four-eye and six-eye boxes can be used to moxibustion the waist and abdomen; if you buy moxibustion jars, you can buy two single-jar moxibustion jars, one four-jar or six-jar moxibustion jar. The single jar can be used to moxibustion the Zusanli and Sanyinjiao points, and the four-jar and six-jar can be used to moxibustion the waist and abdomen. Moxibustion time: It depends on your own tolerance. You can moxibustion for 3 hours, but you may not be able to bear it for 30 minutes. Then you can start from the moxibustion time you can tolerate and gradually achieve the purpose of treatment.
