How to start the examination of female cervical warts

Cervical warts are more common in women, but there is no need to be particularly afraid of them. In fact, cervical warts are not as scary as we imagine. However, if we discover the problem early and fail to treat it in time, and miss the best treatment time, then later treatment will be very difficult. Nowadays, both men and women are very busy at work and sometimes do not have time to go to the hospital for testing. Here we will introduce to you how to check for cervical warts in women.

1. Observe whether there are obvious growths:

The primary characteristic of cervical condyloma is that there must be obvious protruding growths on the local skin and mucous membrane (mainly the genital area). So first of all, you should observe whether there are suspicious growths in your genital area. Such growths are generally granular or papular in the early stage. Larger growths may have uneven surfaces, presenting a cauliflower-like, nipple-like or cockscomb-like appearance. The surface color of growths varies, including skin color, dark gray, black or dark white.

2. How to start the examination of female cervical warts:

1. Diagnose cervical warts based on the appearance of the warts: The surface of typical cervical warts is rough and uneven, and the appearance is generally thorn-shaped, cauliflower-shaped, nipple-shaped, cockscomb-shaped, or with a pedicle at the root. Therefore, once single or multiple rough-surfaced warts with small papules, thorns, nipples, cauliflowers, or cockscombs, or with pedicles at the root and fused into pieces are found in the external genitalia, perianal area, perineum, or vagina, they can basically be identified as cervical warts.

2. Differential diagnosis of cervical condyloma based on acetic acid white test: warts with atypical appearance can be differentiated by acetic acid white test (this test can be done at home). The method is: prepare 3-5% acetic acid (the concentration of edible white vinegar is 4-6%, which can be used as a solution for identifying cervical condyloma). Apply gauze or paper towel soaked in white vinegar to the growths, and observe whether the protrusions turn white after 3-5 minutes (warts in the perianal area need 10-15 minutes). If the growths turn white obviously, it is a positive reaction, and in this case it can be diagnosed as cervical condyloma.

3. Do a pathological examination to diagnose whether it is cervical condyloma: If the appearance is not typical and the positive result after the acetic acid white test is not obvious, a pathological examination can be done on the growth to confirm the diagnosis. The characteristic cells of cervical condyloma are hollow cells. If diagnostic hollow cells can be found through tissue pathology, it can be diagnosed as cervical condyloma. However, the cost of this examination is relatively expensive, generally around 300 yuan, so if the diagnosis can be made through the appearance of the wart, the acetic acid white test, and the trend of the growth to increase or increase, there is no need to do a pathological examination for diagnosis.

3. See if there are any changes in the organisms:

Although the warts of cervical condyloma are granular or papular in the early stage, they tend to increase gradually with the extension of time. This change is also related to the individual's physical constitution. For patients with poor physical constitution, the increase or increase of warts will be more obvious in the short term, while patients with normal or strong physical constitution may not have any changes in warts for several months or more than half a year. Therefore, if warts are found to have been growing for a period of time, and it can be observed that the warts have a tendency to increase from less to more, and from small to large, it is suspected that there is a greater possibility of cervical condyloma.
