What is the chance of recurrence of cervical precancer after surgery?

Every year, many female friends die from cervical precancerous lesions. The harm of this disease is very great, so I hope that all female friends can pay attention to cervical precancerous lesions. There are many reasons for cervical precancerous lesions. Let's take a closer look at the reasons that cause cervical precancerous lesions!

1. Cervical inflammation and abnormal hormone secretion

If women suffer from cervical diseases and do not receive good treatment, it is very likely to lead to the occurrence of cervical precancerous lesions. If there is long-term cervical injury, skin breakage, erosion, and inflammation, it may turn into early cervical precancerous lesion cells. A survey shows that abnormal secretion of progesterone (a female hormone) will change the stability of cervical epithelial cells, causing abnormal changes and leading to the development of cervical precancerous lesion cells.

2. Improper sex life

Some female friends have sex too early, or have unclean sex, which can lead to the occurrence of cervical precancerous lesions. Women who do not have sex usually do not suffer from cervical precancerous lesions. The earlier they have improper sex, the more likely they are to develop cervical precancerous lesions in the future. Sexual confusion (including both men and women), young age of first sexual intercourse, marriage and childbirth factors, cervical erosion, viral infection (HSV-2, HPV), etc. are high-risk factors for cervical precancerous lesions. Foreign reports have shown that those who start sex before the age of 15 or have more than 6 sexual partners have a 10-fold increased risk of cervical precancerous lesions. At the same time, the cholesterol in the male smegma can be converted into carcinogens after being acted upon by bacteria, which is also an important cause of cervical precancerous lesions.

3. HPV infection

There is also HPV infection, which is also one of the more serious causes of cervical precancerous lesions, so patients must pay attention to this factor. High-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is the main factor causing cervical precancerous lesions, and patients with cervical precancerous lesions are accompanied by high-risk HPV infection. When HPV infection persists, factors such as smoking, use of contraceptives, and sexually transmitted diseases can induce cervical precancerous lesions. This process is long, that is, it takes a relatively long time for HPV infection to develop into precancerous lesions, namely CIN, and it also takes a long time for CIN to develop into cancer. Regular inspections can detect and treat it in time before it becomes cancerous.

4. Smoking

Smoking increases the chance of developing cervical precancerous lesions because smoking reduces the body's immunity and accelerates the development of cervical precancerous lesion cells. In addition, some carcinogens produced by smoking may also cause the development of cervical precancerous lesions.
