Is the cure rate of cervical precancerous lesions high?

Cervical precancerous lesions can be said to be the natural enemy of female friends. This disease generally occurs in middle-aged women. Although the cause of the disease is still unclear, there are many patients suffering from this disease, so timely treatment is critical and important. Clinically, there are many methods for treating cervical precancerous lesions. Common methods include surgical treatment, diet therapy and radiotherapy. These methods are available for patients to choose. Let’s follow the editor to learn about it.

1. Surgical treatment:

Surgery is suitable for early cervical precancerous lesions. The scope of the operation is radical hysterectomy, which means removing the uterus, part of the vagina and paracervical tissues. At the same time, the bilateral pelvic lymph nodes should be removed. Those without ovarian lesions can consider retaining them. The advantage of surgical treatment is that early cases can completely remove the cancerous lesions in one operation, and the treatment period is short. The disadvantage is that the scope of the operation is large. Cervical precancerous lesions may cause complications such as urinary dysfunction to a certain extent after the operation, and it takes a period of recuperation and exercise to return to normal.

2. Diet therapy:

There are more and more examples of cervical precancerous lesions caused by viruses. Although vitamin C can effectively inhibit the damage of viruses, it is very important. Recently, scientists have discovered more than a dozen immune-enhancing effects of vitamin C, including the speed of antibody production and the promotion of the maturation of immune cells. In addition, the incidence of vitamin C in this disease and context information surveys have shown that the increase in vitamin C intake is associated with a decrease in cervical precancerous lesions.

3. Radiotherapy:

Radiotherapy for cervical precancerous lesions is a common method for the treatment of cervical precancerous lesions, and can be used for cervical precancerous lesions of all stages. The radiation range mainly includes the cervix and the affected vagina, uterine body, paracervical tissue and pelvic lymph nodes. There are two main methods of irradiation: internal irradiation and external irradiation. Most clinical methods use a combination of internal and external irradiation. The internal radiation source uses intracavitary radium (Ra) or 137 cesium, which is mainly aimed at the primary lesion of the cervix. The external radiation source uses 60 drills, which is mainly aimed at metastatic lesions outside the primary lesion, mainly including the pelvic lymph node drainage area. The dose is generally 60Gy. At present, it is advocated to perform internal irradiation first for early cervical precancerous lesions. For advanced cancer, especially those with huge local tumors, active bleeding, or concomitant infection, it is appropriate to perform external irradiation first.
