How to prevent cervical warts from spreading to family members

As people's living standards improve, some people think that sexual openness is a fashion, and they have multiple sexual partners. This makes it easy to get sexually transmitted diseases over time. Cervical warts are a sexually transmitted disease that seriously affects the patient's physical and mental health. With the increasing incidence of cervical warts, many people want to know how the disease is transmitted. Let's talk about how cervical warts are transmitted.

How are cervical warts transmitted?

1. Sexual contact transmission. It is undeniable that sexual contact transmission is still the main way of transmission of cervical warts. According to surveys, 2/3 of patients with cervical warts have a history of promiscuous sex. When having sex with patients with cervical warts or patients carrying the virus, the warts growing on the external genitalia are protruding and brittle, so the surface is easily scratched. In this way, the warts and the virus in the epidermal tissue can fall off and be inoculated on the genitals of the sexual partner, leading to infection with human papillomavirus and the onset of the disease. Therefore, cervical warts are easy to occur in people with complicated sexual relationships.

2. Indirect object transmission. If you accidentally come into contact with daily necessities used by cervical wart virus carriers in public places, such as underwear, bathtubs, bath towels, toilets, etc., it is easy to be infected with the wart virus. This is also one of the most common ways of transmission of cervical warts. Therefore, it is recommended that you choose to shower in public baths and try to avoid large bathing pools and bathtubs. At the same time, cervical wart patients need to prepare a set of bathing products at home to prevent the virus from being transmitted to the elderly and children at home.

3. Mutual infection between husband and wife. Infection between husband and wife is actually a form of sexual contact transmission. When one of the husband and wife is infected, the other will be infected during sexual intercourse. If both husband and wife suffer from cervical warts at the same time, they must be treated at the same time. Because treatment of only one party is ineffective, it will still cause mutual infection during sexual intercourse. Therefore, cervical warts must be treated by husband and wife at the same time to be effectively cured.

4. Nosocomial transmission. Nosocomial infection refers to the possibility of infection with HPV virus from patients with cervical warts when patients are exposed to residual HPV virus from patients with cervical warts during examinations, surgeries, injections or blood transfusions in hospitals. In order to avoid nosocomial infection, you must choose regular medical institutions when seeking medical treatment, and do not choose small clinics with lax disinfection and simple equipment.

There are reasons for the occurrence of diseases. Some people do not pay attention to sexual hygiene, which makes them susceptible to sexually transmitted diseases. Cervical warts are highly contagious and have many transmission routes. Many people become victims of the disease without knowing it. As long as everyone does not engage in unclean sexual behavior and develops good personal habits, they can stay away from this disease. This is the introduction to the transmission routes of cervical warts.
