1. Uterine submucosal osteoma or endometrial polyps often present with menorrhagia or prolonged menstruation, or bleeding accompanied by vaginal discharge or bloody secretions. Differential diagnosis can be made through uterine cavity exploration, segmental curettage, uterine iodized oil angiography, or hysteroscopy.

2. Primary fallopian tube cancer causes vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain. Vaginal smears may reveal cancer cells. However, endometrial biopsy of fallopian tube cancer is negative, and a mass may be palpated near the uterus. If the mass is small and not palpable, it can be confirmed by laparoscopy.

⑴ Mucinous adenocarcinoma: The most common type, originating from the cervical columnar mucinous cells, with glandular structure visible under the microscope and cells containing mucus.

⑵ Cervical malignant adenoma: also known as minimally invasive adenocarcinoma. The tumor cells appear benign and often infiltrate the deep layers of the cervical wall.

⑶ Squamous adenocarcinoma: It originates from the subcolumnar cells of the cervical mucosa. It is rare and the cancer cells are immature. It develops towards both adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, hence the name.
