The most important duty of women is to get pregnant and have children. For women, the uterus is one of the most important organs and the cradle of life. However, due to the sharp increase in life and work pressure and the sharp increase in environmental pollution, many diseases always make people entangled. Cervical precancerous lesions are one of them. Cervical precancerous lesions are very harmful to women. So what are the main methods for diagnosing cervical precancerous lesions? Suspicious cervical lesions should be biopsied directly. If there is no obvious invasive lesion, colposcopy can be used to identify the area to be biopsied and determine the location of the lesion. The results of the colposcopy can be clinically correlated with the results of the Pap smear (evaluation for characteristic color changes, vascular pattern, and margins). Biopsy guided by colposcopy often gives sufficient clinical evidence for an accurate diagnosis. If the colposcopy is unsatisfactory or inconclusive, a cervical cone excision biopsy is required, which can be performed by loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP), laser, or cold knife. If cervical disease is invasive, staging is based on physical examination, plus searches for metastatic disease, including cystoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, intravenous pyelography, chest x-ray, and skeletal x-rays (Table 241-4). For early-stage disease (IB or below), chest x-ray is often the only adjunctive test needed. Abdominal and pelvic CT or MRI is optional; these results cannot be used to determine clinical stage. The above early asymptomatic CIN cases can be detected before clinical symptoms appear by cytology of a Pap smear obtained directly from the cervix. However, this depends on the patient population and the laboratory. Patients with cervical precancer have never had a smear or have not had one in ≥ 10 years. Patients with higher-risk cervical neoplasia are the least regularly examined. After the above introduction, I believe that everyone has a certain understanding. For female friends, we must be very cautious and careful. The harm caused by cervical precancerous lesions is immeasurable. In addition, we must develop good living habits and eating habits. A healthy and happy life is the most important. |
