Scientific examination methods for bacterial vaginosis

With the continuous development of medical technology, if you suffer from bacterial vaginosis, the examination methods have begun to become diverse. However, in life, some women do not understand these examination methods at all, so they are embarrassed to go to the hospital for timely treatment when they suffer from this disease, thus delaying the disease. So, what are the examination methods for bacterial vaginosis?

1. Gynecological examination

This is the most routine examination of women's health, the purpose of which is to preliminarily screen for possible sexual diseases and take secretion samples for necessary examinations.

2. Vaginal secretion examination

The purpose of this examination is to check the cleanliness of the vagina and whether there is fungal, Trichomonas, or bacterial (clue cells, pus cells) infection.

3. Vaginal secretion culture

When diagnosing bacterial vaginosis, this test is performed to determine which pathogen the patient is infected with and to provide doctors with accurate diagnostic basis.

IV. Drug sensitivity test

The purpose of this test is to detect which drugs the pathogens are sensitive to so that targeted medication can be used to improve treatment outcomes.

5. Electronic colposcopy

The advantage of this examination is that it can magnify 50 times to accurately and clearly observe relevant lesions in the vagina, cervix and other parts, and accurately select suspicious parts for live examination. It is of great value for the early detection and early diagnosis of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions.
