Menopause is a process that every woman must go through. Usually, menopause occurs between the ages of 40 and 45. It is normal to go through menopause a few years earlier or later. So, in addition to judging menopause by age, how else should we judge whether we have reached menopause? In fact, we can judge by the symptoms of menopause.

1. Mental symptoms. Women in menopause are prone to depression, forgetfulness, paranoia, emotional instability, anxiety, suspicion, persecution and other symptoms. Some women also have symptoms such as mania, confusion, schizophrenia, etc. Therefore, it is often said that women in menopause are like schizophrenic lunatics.

2. Women should be careful about urinary system diseases when they reach menopause. Women in menopause are prone to frequent urination, urgency or stress incontinence, as well as urethral mucosal prolapse, renal ptosis, hydronephrosis and other symptoms.

3. Symptoms of the musculoskeletal system: menopausal women need to pay attention to prevent symptoms such as bones and joints, ligaments, body aches, osteoporosis, and easy fractures in the wrists, elbows, shoulders and other parts of the body.

4. Women in menopause should also pay attention to some changes in endocrine metabolism, such as hyperlipidemia, diabetes tendency, edema, decreased immune function and other symptoms.

5. Vasomotor syndrome is the main symptom of menopause. The incidence of this symptom is very high in women 1 to 5 years after entering menopause. In addition, during this period of menopause, women will also have organ aging diseases, such as sexual organ atrophy, breast atrophy and sagging, and are prone to high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, coronary heart disease, etc.

As organ systems age, some medical problems are very likely to plague menopausal women. Therefore, understanding the symptoms of menopause can help women take timely prevention measures.
