Treatment of vulvar leukoplakia with Chinese medicine for internal and external use

Vulvar leukoplakia is a localized or diffuse white patch that appears on the skin of the female genitals. It can spread to the inner side of the lower limbs, perineum and anus, but rarely invades the urethral opening and vestibule. It belongs to the category of "vulvar itch", "vulvar pain" and "vulvar pain" in traditional Chinese medicine and can be treated by taking Chinese medicine orally or externally.

Chinese medicine internal administration

Fang Yi

Chinese medicine: 15 grams of Sophora japonica, 15 grams of roasted turtle shell, 15 grams of verbena, 30 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, and 9 grams of Gentiana scabra.

Preparation: Grind the above Chinese medicines into fine powder, take 3 times a day, 3 grams each time, or take it as decoction.

Efficacy: It can treat vulvar stinging and itching, local skin dryness and whitening caused by blood deficiency and liver hyperactivity.

Fang Er

Chinese medicine: 15 grams each of angelica, rehmannia root, and epimedium, 12 grams each of chuanxiong, white peony root, moutan bark, Achyranthes bidentata, and dodder seed, 20 grams each of millettia reticulata, psoralea corylifolia, and Cistanche deserticola.

Preparation: Decoction of the above Chinese medicines in water, one dose per day.

Efficacy: Nourishes yin and blood, relieves itching.

Chinese medicine fumigation

Recipe 1: 200 grams of raw Chuanwu, 200 grams of raw Caowu, 150 grams of Cnidium monnieri, 150 grams of Sophora flavescens, and 50 grams of Artemisia argyi.

Preparation: Add 4 kg of water, boil until 2 kg, then add 150 g of alum and 600 g of brine, boil until 1 kg, and use it for local washing.

Recipe 2: 30g each of Polygonum multiflorum, Radix Rehmanniae, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Fructus Cnidii, and Radix Stemonae. Wrap with gauze, put into a basin and boil for 20 minutes, then add 6g each of realgar and borneol, remove from the gauze after 5 minutes, and fumigate and wash the affected area for 15-20 minutes. Take 1 dose per day, wash twice a day.
