Ovarian cysts have a cause and do not come on suddenly

Ovarian cysts can occur in all age groups, especially in female patients aged 20-50 years old. The causes of the disease are as follows.

1. Environmental pollution

Environmental pollution is a major cause of ovarian cysts, especially long-term exposure to asbestos and talcum powder, which can easily adversely affect the normal growth and reproduction of oocytes in the body, greatly increasing the incidence of ovarian cysts. Therefore, if women are engaged in occupations related to such pollutants, they must take protective measures. In addition, ionizing radiation is also a common cause of ovarian cysts, which should be paid more attention to and should be taken seriously in daily life.

2. Ovarian lesions

Various ovarian diseases can affect its ovulation function and lead to the occurrence of ovarian cysts. Common ovarian diseases include premature ovarian failure, polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian tumors, immature ovaries, etc.

3. Impact on the central nervous system

If the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis system is adversely affected, it is likely to cause abnormal ovulation and induce ovarian cysts. Common adverse effects include endocrine disorders, excessive mental stress, anxiety, pituitary tumors or scar lesions, etc.

4. Chronic metabolic diseases

Certain chronic metabolic diseases, such as hyperthyroidism, diabetes, adrenal dysfunction, etc., will affect ovarian function and are a common cause of ovarian cysts.

5. Premature menopause

Some women may experience premature menopause due to early ovarian failure and other reasons, which causes the ovaries to stop functioning prematurely and can easily induce the occurrence of ovarian cysts.
