Four common symptoms of irregular menstruation

Four common symptoms of irregular menstruation

As the pressure of social competition increases, women face great physical and mental pressure. Over time, they may experience irregular menstruation, which causes great harm to their physical and mental health. What are the more common symptoms of irregular menstruation ? Here are some common symptoms of irregular menstruation.

In general, the more common symptoms of irregular menstruation are:

Prolonged menstrual period

Normal menstrual cycle, prolonged menstruation, menstruation lasting more than 7 days, or even 2 weeks. Those with inflammation usually have lower abdominal pain, which is aggravated during menstruation. Usually, there is a lot of leucorrhea, which is yellow or yellow-white, thick and has a smell. Those with incomplete corpus luteum atrophy also have heavy menstrual flow; those with prolonged endometrial repair still have a small amount of continuous vaginal bleeding after the normal menstrual period. These are common symptoms of irregular menstruation.

Mid-period bleeding (also called intermenstrual bleeding, ovulation bleeding)

Refers to bleeding that occurs between two regular menstrual cycles. This symptom of irregular menstruation is due to a temporary drop in estrogen levels, which causes the endometrium to lose hormonal support and leads to bleeding caused by the shedding of the endometrium.

Early menstruation

The symptoms of this menstrual disorder refer to a shortened menstrual cycle that is shorter than 21 days and occurs for more than two consecutive cycles. It is an ovulatory functional uterine bleeding with a biphasic basal body temperature, a short follicular phase of only 7 to 8 days, or a luteal phase shorter than 10 days, or a body temperature rise of less than 0.5°C.

Delayed menstruation

Menstruation is delayed for more than 7 days, or even every 40 to 50 days, and occurs for more than two consecutive menstrual cycles. These are also symptoms of irregular menstruation. For those who ovulate, the basal body temperature is biphasic, but the follicular phase is long and the high temperature phase is low; for those who anovulate, the basal body temperature is monophasic.

The above are the more common symptoms of irregular menstruation, I believe everyone should know about it. If you have symptoms of irregular menstruation, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time so that you can control the condition in time and recover your health as soon as possible.
