Acupuncture for amenorrhea

After many years of clinical practice, acupuncture treatment of amenorrhea has achieved good results. Acupuncture can be divided into body acupuncture and ear acupuncture. The specific methods are as follows:

Body acupuncture:

(1) Acupuncture points

Main acupoints: Zhongji, below the 17th vertebra, Gongsun, and Ci Liao.

Acupoint combination: Type I is insufficient in the Chong, Ren and Du meridians, with deficiency of Qi and blood, and malnutrition of the meridians. Add Guanyuan, Qixue, Baihui, Shenmen, Ganshu, Zhishi, Langshu, Fuliu and Qimen. Type II is invasion of Chong and Ren by pathogens, with stasis of Qi and blood, and malnutrition of the meridians. Add Zhongwan, Dahe, uterus, Yaoshu, Ganshu, Pishu, Ligou and Sanyinjiao.

(2) Governing Law

The main acupoints are the main ones, and the auxiliary acupoints are added according to different symptoms. 6 to 8 acupoints are selected each time. The acupoints are routinely disinfected. Use twisting, lifting and inserting, slow and fast supplementation and drainage methods, and the sacral acupoints are pecked after the qi is obtained. Type I waist Guanyuan and Qi points are inserted slowly from shallow to deep after the qi is obtained, and the needle is repeatedly inserted for 1 to 3 minutes until there is a warm feeling, or warm moxibustion is added for 1 to 3 times; Type II back acupoints are shallowly punctured and twisted to supplement. Treatment is once every other day, and a course of treatment is 3 months. Stop treatment when menstruation comes, and continue acupuncture after the menstruation is over. Generally, one course of treatment is required.

Ear acupuncture pills:

(1) Acupuncture points

Main acupoints: internal genitalia, endocrine, and subcortical.

Acupoints: liver, kidney, heart.

(2) Governing Law

The main acupoints are the main ones, and the auxiliary acupoints are added as appropriate. Select 2 to 3 acupoints each time, and select both ears. Apply the Vaccaria segetalis paste. After applying, press repeatedly with the thumb and index finger until the auricle becomes red and congested. Instruct the patient to press 3 to 4 times a day. Change the paste once every 3 days. After the menstruation comes, it is advisable to apply the paste for another course of treatment to consolidate the effect. Generally, 3 to 5 times is a course of treatment.

Acupuncture has certain technical difficulties, and patients are advised to receive treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
