Patients should be examined for vaginitis according to different types

Vaginitis has the highest incidence rate among gynecological inflammations. Women of any age are not immune to its invasion, which can cause harm to the patient's body. If the patient does not undergo a vaginitis examination early, the condition may continue to worsen. Therefore, everyone should understand the examination of vaginitis so that they can receive treatment as soon as possible. The following is an introduction to the examinations for vaginitis.

Vaginitis tests include:

1. Trichomonas vaginitis: Mix the secretions with a small amount of warm saline solution dropped on a glass slide and examine under a microscope. Active vaginal Trichomonas can be seen. If Trichomonas cannot be found in a special case, the culture method can be used instead, and the test results are more accurate. This is one of the methods for checking vaginitis.

2. Fungal vaginitis: Take the secretions for smear and use Gram stain. Under the microscope, you can find groups of Gram-positive, densely stained oval spores, or pseudohyphae and budding cells connected in chains or branches. This is also a checkup item for vaginitis.

3. Nonspecific vaginitis: Take the secretion for smear and examine it with Gram staining. Common pathogens can be found, but no fungi or trichomonas are present. This type of vaginitis is more common.

The above is the examination of vaginitis. I hope everyone can understand it one by one. As long as the examination of vaginitis is combined as soon as possible, patients can find the disease in time and receive treatment. So if you want patients to control the disease early, please refer to the examination methods of vaginitis. Finally, I wish all patients a speedy recovery.
