Beware of the high-risk population for adnexitis

Beware of the high-risk population for adnexitis

With the development of the times, more and more gynecological diseases are emerging quietly, and adnexitis is one of them. Many of our female friends do not pay much attention to it. Let us briefly introduce the high-risk groups for adnexitis:

1. After delivery or miscarriage, the mother's resistance decreases and pathogens will ascend from the reproductive tract and spread to the fallopian tubes, ovaries, and then the entire pelvic cavity, causing inflammation. This is a high-risk group for adnexitis.

2. People who are at high risk of adnexitis include those who do not perform intrauterine contraceptive device surgery strictly or do not pay attention to personal hygiene after surgery, which can cause this type of inflammation.

3. Uterine cavity operations performed without strict disinfection, such as vacuum extraction, cervical canal treatment, and obstetric surgery infections without strict disinfection.

4. Women who do not pay attention to menstrual hygiene, have sexual intercourse during menstruation or have unclean sexual intercourse, etc. are also a high-risk group for adnexitis.

5. When inflammation occurs in the pelvic cavity or organs adjacent to the fallopian tubes, such as appendicitis, it can directly spread to cause salpingo-oophoritis and pelvic peritonitis. The inflammation usually occurs in the adjacent fallopian tube and ovary.

The above are the high-risk groups for adnexitis, and we hope that our patients will pay more attention to them. The above content is for reference only and cannot be used as a basis for diagnosis and treatment. Because each person has a different physique, the degree and symptoms of the disease are different, so it is recommended that all diagnosis and treatment should follow the guidance of the doctor.
