Abnormal leucorrhea bleeding after pregnancy

Abnormal leucorrhea bleeding after pregnancy

Abnormal leucorrhea after pregnancy may be related to a variety of reasons, including physiological changes, infection, threatened abortion or placental problems, etc., and you need to seek medical attention in time according to the specific situation.

The causes of abnormal leucorrhea during pregnancy are complex and may be a normal physiological phenomenon or a signal of underlying health problems. In the early stages of pregnancy, due to changes in hormone levels, some pregnant women will experience a small amount of bleeding, which is called "implantation bleeding." Usually, there is no need to worry too much. However, if the amount of bleeding is heavy or accompanied by abdominal pain, it may be related to threatened abortion, ectopic pregnancy, or placental problems, and you need to see a doctor immediately. Cervical inflammation, cervical polyps, or infections (such as candidal vaginitis, bacterial vaginitis) may also cause abnormal leucorrhea bleeding. Bleeding caused by infection is usually accompanied by odor, itching, or abnormal color of leucorrhea, and requires diagnosis and treatment through a gynecological examination.

The treatment methods are different for different reasons. If the abnormal leucorrhea bleeding is caused by infection, the doctor may prescribe antifungal drugs (such as clotrimazole suppositories), antibiotics (such as metronidazole), or local anti-inflammatory drugs. For threatened abortion or placental problems, the doctor will recommend bed rest, the use of progesterone drugs to preserve the fetus, or further examination (such as B-ultrasound) according to the situation. Pregnant women should pay attention to personal hygiene in daily life, avoid using irritating lotions, choose cotton underwear and change them frequently. In terms of diet, you can consume more foods rich in vitamin C and protein, such as oranges, eggs and fish, to enhance immunity. If abnormal symptoms occur, you should seek medical attention in time to avoid self-medication or delaying treatment.
