How to treat cervical hypertrophy

Cervical hypertrophy is a common problem in the female reproductive system. It is actually the abnormal proliferation of cervical glands or stroma. It may be caused by chronic cervicitis, long-term unhealed cervical erosion, or improper gynecological operation. If ignored and not treated, it may have an adverse effect on cervical function and the risk of infection spread cannot be ruled out.

For mild cervical hypertrophy, conservative treatment is usually adopted, such as anti-inflammatory drugs and local medication to help improve inflammation; if the condition is serious and accompanied by obvious symptoms, physical therapy may be needed, such as laser, cryotherapy or microwave therapy to help repair the diseased tissue. Daily care is also very important. Pay attention to the hygiene of the genitals and avoid excessive washing. Develop the habit of regular gynecological examinations, especially for women with a history of chronic inflammation or cervical lesions. Follow the doctor's instructions to complete the course of treatment when dealing with infection.
