1. What does dysmenorrhea feel like?

The main symptom of dysmenorrhea is lower abdominal pain, which has certain specificity. It is a spasmodic pain, and generally there will be no reaction of abdominal muscle tension and rebound pain. During menstruation, but mainly 12 hours before menstruation and the first day of menstruation, you will feel abdominal pain, and occasionally you will feel cone pain or pain in the lower abdomen. In severe cases, it may become colic, unbearable, and unable to live and work normally.

Due to the changes in hormone levels during menstruation, dysmenorrhea is often accompanied by breast pain, especially in the nipple area. In some cases, there will be lumps in the breast, but they can be relieved by themselves after menstruation, so don't worry too much.

3. Poor mental state

Dysmenorrhea can affect personal emotions, mainly irritability, anxiety, depression, sadness, irritability and other abnormal emotions, the spirit is always in a depressed state, looks listless, and may lose temper for some trivial things. This is usually called menstrual syndrome, which can present cyclical changes.

4. Systemic symptoms

Once dysmenorrhea is extremely severe, it will induce a series of adverse systemic symptoms. You may experience pale complexion, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, weakness, and swelling, discomfort in the anus, diarrhea, or frequent urination.
