Will pelvic fluid turn into a cyst?

Regular gynecological examinations, early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment are the principles of gynecological disease prevention. So, will pelvic fluid turn into a cyst?

Pelvic effusion can be divided into physiological pelvic effusion and pathological pelvic effusion. If you don't pay attention, pelvic effusion may turn into cysts. Pathological pelvic effusion is more harmful. Generally speaking, the causes of pelvic effusion are mainly the following:

1. Not paying attention to hygiene during menstruation: If female friends do not pay attention to their personal hygiene during menstruation, or do not use standard sanitary napkins, toilet paper, etc., or have sexual intercourse during menstruation, it provides a good opportunity for bacterial growth and infection, which will cause female pelvic inflammatory disease.

2. Spread of inflammation in adjacent organs: Some female friends may suffer from appendicitis or peritoneal inflammation, and the female reproductive organs are nearby. If the inflammation is not treated in time, it can easily spread and eventually lead to inflammation in the female pelvic area.

3. Postpartum and post-abortion infection: After childbirth and artificial abortion, women suffer a lot of damage to their bodies, so their bodies are very weak, and their body resistance and immunity are relatively low. If they do not pay attention to personal hygiene at this time, all the bacteria in the vagina and cervix may continue to ascend and cause female pelvic infection.

There are two types of pelvic effusion, pathological and physiological. If you check before and after ovulation, there will be about one centimeter of pelvic effusion, which will gradually disappear with ovulation, and this becomes physiological. If you check before and after ovulation, if the pelvic effusion is more than three centimeters, it is pathological and needs treatment. Pelvic effusion and ovarian cysts can be rechecked 3-7 days after the next menstrual period.
