Japanese researchers pointed out that past studies have shown that fish oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids can prevent fat accumulation, so they decided to test whether fish oil can increase beige fat and help lose weight.

Mackerel is a good choice for omega-3 fatty acids.

The researchers fed laboratory mice a high-fat diet and tracked their weight changes for four months. The study found that when mice were fed fish oil instead of fish oil, they lost up to 10 percent of their body weight and 25 percent of their fat mass.

Herring, which is rarely eaten by Chinese people, is actually rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.

Studies have shown that fish oil can remove excess fat, and the Omega-3 fatty acids in fish can convert bad fat into good fat, which can burn more calories. This research has been published in the journal Scientific Reports.

Salmon, mackerel, and herring are rich in healthy fish oils

Researchers say that omega-3 fatty acids are particularly abundant in certain oily fish, such as salmon, mackerel, herring, etc. In addition to aiding weight loss, omega-3 fatty acids also help prevent high blood pressure and Alzheimer's disease.

It is recommended that people eat fish in moderation to intake natural Omega-3 fatty acids.
