Ayurvedic Yoga Breathing Postures 3 in 1

Ayurvedic Yoga Breathing Postures 3 in 1

India's oldest medical practice, Ayurveda, combined with yoga, is creating a health trend in the country. Vasanthi Pillay, founder of the Ayurveda Association of Singapore (AAOS), pointed out that true health is the result of a balanced integration of body, mind and emotions. Through natural breathing and relaxation, and simple body stretching to relieve stress, the ultimate goal of enhancing immunity and staying away from disease can be achieved. Huang Jingya, general manager of the Health Management Center of Show Chwan Medical System, pointed out that Ayurveda (called Ayurveda in Sanskrit) is a traditional medicine originating from ancient India. "Ayur" means life, and "Veda" refers to science, so Ayurveda means "the science of life". It is not only the knowledge of treating diseases, but also a science that teaches people how to maintain health with a healthy lifestyle.

Harmony of body and mind chakras to open up wisdom

When yoga was first invented, it was actually intended to help humans gain spiritual acumen and enlightenment. Through various yoga postures, the various energies in the body can return to different "chakras" in the body. The literal meaning of Yoga refers to the harmony of body and mind. It can maintain various systems of the body in a coordinated state, enhance the flexibility of the limbs and improve bad posture.

The core of yoga includes two key points: one is Pranayama, which is the so-called breathing technique, and the other is Asanas, which refers to postures and positions. According to Ayurveda, nourishing the soul is the life-giving force. Sitting in meditation and contemplation are the basis for enlightening the spirituality and opening up wisdom.

To find health, listen to your body first

In addition to the spiritual purpose of yoga, Vasanthi Pillay emphasized that the dietary principles implemented by Ayurveda are to "listen to the voice of your own body" and "chew 36 times" before swallowing every meal to maintain good health. When people have improper living and eating habits, it will lead to a situation where certain energies are high and certain energies are low, and the body lacks balance. This is a warning sign of the beginning of disease.
